Since a 3-0 win at Bristol City on the opening day of the season, Ipswich have struggled badly and last Saturday’s 7-1 defeat at the hands of Peterborough was a complete humiliation, with one of the favourites for relegation tearing apart Paul Jewell’s men.

Town will be looking to end a strong of four defeats when Leeds arrive at Portman Road, although there was plenty to like about Simon Grayson’s team as they drew 2-2 at West Ham last Sunday and they rate as a decent bet at 9/5 (Coral – £25 free bet) to claim victory this weekend.

Leeds won at Doncaster in the Carling Cup this week thanks to two goals from Ramon Nunez and the Honduran will be pressing for a start in east Anglia, with odds of 9/1 (Ladbrokes – £50 free betting) available about him breaking the deadlock for the visitors.

Ipswich signed Jimmy Bullard this week, with Paul Jewell having had the midfielder at Wigan, and the home side are a 6/4 chance with Sky Bet to stop the rot and claim three precious points that will ease the pressure on Jewell after three straight defeats at home.

Bullard is a 10/1 chance to open the scoring, with Michael Chopra available at 6/1, while the home side will be wary of the threat posed by Max Gradel and Robert Snodgrass from out wide. Gradel in particular is a tricky customer and it is easy to see a few goals being scored in this match. Over 2.5 Goals can be backed at 8/11 with Coral.
