The new season approaches and Arsenal continue to retain the services of Cesc Fabregas and Samir Nasri, despite the advances of Barcelona and Manchester United when it comes to the respective players.
Nasri is reported to be keen on a transfer to Old Trafford, although Arsene Wenger managed to keep Fabregas at the Emirates for the past couple of summers and claims that Nasri’s attitude has been excellent since returning to training.
“He has always had a very good attitude,” said Wenger.
“We are a big club with many good young players so we are confronted with many rumours and speculation. But it doesn’t affect much what’s happening inside the club. We have to live with that and you could see when he [Samir] played that he wasn’t disturbed by that.”
Nasri played a part in Arsenal’s 4-0 friendly win over a Malaysian XI this week and the Frenchman has one year left on his contract before having the option to leave on a free transfer.
